Our goal as a dental office is to make your experience relaxed and pain-free, whether you are in the chair, at the front desk, or call in with questions or concerns. We work hard to make sure you feel like a family member. If it feels different being here, it's because we are proud to be a privately owned dental office, staying away from the corporate model so many dental offices have migrated to these days. Meet Our Office Staff Below
Dr. Jason Justison
Dr. Justison grew up in Pike Creek, Delaware, just around the corner from the office. He received his undergraduate degree in Biology, with minor in chemistry from University of Delaware, researching cancer biology, physics, and biochemistry. He then went on to dental school at Temple University in Philadelphia, PA and attended a hospital-based general practice residency at Lancaster General Hospital in Lancaster, PA. He has been practicing in Pike Creek, Delaware ever since, coming full circle.
Dr. Justison strives to be the most gentle and pain-free dentist. His favorite part of dentistry is handing the patient the mirror and seeing their face light up after a life changing cosmetic dentistry case. He enjoys relieving a patient in pain and truly cares to help patients figure out the best possible treatment plan that fits with their comfort level and budget. Dr. Jay has received intensive training in cosmetic dentistry, implant prosthodontics, restorative dentistry, children’s dentistry, and in treating gum disease. He likes to keep his patients laughing and to have as good a time as possible considering they are in a dental chair!
Dr. Jay enjoys going for hikes with his family, road and mountain biking, snowboarding, and playing sports with his kids. He recently won the Bolton Landing Turkey Trot on scenic Lake George in upstate New York while visiting extended family. Dr. Jay is a family man, and strives to treat all of his patients like family.
Dr. Mark Gladnick, DDS
Originally from Wilmington, Dr. Gladnick has been practicing comprehensive restorative and aesthetic dentistry for the entire family since 1980. Areas of expertise include implant crowns, Invisalign orthodontics, restoring severely worn teeth, metal-free restorations, root canals, and state-of-the-art aesthetic techniques. His practice emphasizes prevention of dental disease in an unhurried and relaxing environment. As a father of four children, he also has an excellent rapport with the junior members of our practice!
Dr. Gladnick earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree from the Temple University School of Dental Medicine, where he was inducted into the Periodontal and Oral Surgery Honor Societies. He subsequently completed, with distinction, a General Practice residency at the Christiana Care Medical Center in Newark. He opened his own practice on Kirkwood Highway between Pike Creek and Wilmington.
Certified by the Delaware State Board of Examiners, Dr. Gladnick is highly involved in Delaware Dentistry as an active participant in the American Academy of Dentistry, the Delaware State Dental Society, and the American Dental Association. He continues his post-graduate education in all fields of dentistry to provide patients with the latest innovations, techniques, and technology with a special interest in treating TMJ and bite disorder.
Dr. Gladnick just recently served as the President of the Temple University Dental Alumni Association, which offers service and support for current dental students. He also serves as a board member of the Covered Bridge Farms Maintenance Corporation.
A former Boy Scout leader and multi-sports coach, Dr. Gladnick lives in Newark and enjoys spending time with his wife MaryAnn and their family.
